About the product
What ‘beta’ means for Moneyta
We say Moneyta is in beta. Here's what we actually mean by that — no marketing spin.
The short version
Moneyta is a paid subscription product. During beta, members with an invite code get 90 days of full Gold access, free — everyone else starts with a 7-day free trial. Beta means the product is usable but still being shaped, and your feedback directly steers what we build.
What works today
- Paste or import your holdings (manual entry, CSV, broker statement screenshot, free-text descriptions).
- A health score, plain-English observations about your portfolio, and AI explanations from Goodwin — our portfolio analyst character.
- Stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, crypto, and spot precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, palladium).
- Risk + return analytics (Sharpe, Beta vs SPY, Sortino, drawdown) for portfolios with at least a few months of price history.
- Correlation matrix to spot positions that move together even when they look diversified on paper.
- Target allocation editor and drift detection — set what you're aiming for, then see how the current portfolio compares.
What's still rough
- Some asset coverage is incomplete. International stocks, options, and futures aren't supported yet.
- Real estate, private investments, and tangible assets like jewelry or watches aren't tracked — those are on the roadmap.
- Tax-loss harvesting and retirement modeling don't exist yet.
- Goodwin's explanations are useful but aren't personalized advice. We're an educational tool, not an investment adviser.
- You will occasionally find bugs. Telling us about them is the most valuable thing you can do during beta.
Why beta members get 90 days free
We want beta to surface honest feedback. Giving invite-code members 90 days of full Gold access means you can really live with the product — and tell us what's broken — without a trial clock running down in the background.
Moneyta is an educational analytics tool, not a registered investment adviser — and charging a subscription doesn't change that. We describe what your portfolio looks like; we don't recommend trades. That posture holds whether you're on a trial, a beta invite, or a paid plan.
What happens when the trial or beta period ends?
You'll get advance notice — no surprises. When a 7-day trial or a 90-day beta period is close to ending, we'll email you. We collect a card up front, so unless you cancel beforehand your plan simply continues. You can cancel anytime from your Account page; if you do, your data is kept for 30 days afterward so you can resubscribe — after that it's permanently deleted.
How to help shape it
Use it. Find the rough edges. Tell us what's missing or confusing. There's a feedback button on every page once you're signed in. We read all of it — and what you tell us directly shapes what we build next.
A note on language
Throughout the app we describe what your portfolio looks like rather than telling you what to do with it. That's deliberate. We're here to help you see your portfolio clearly — not to recommend trades.
